Renovation, maintenance, repair.
Part of the services JDP Property Maintenance offers is
Internal Decorating.
Decorating is part that everyone sees when any project is finished so its the most importent part in lots of ways.
Also lets not forget with decorating, beauty is in the eye of the beholder so its always a quality finish as some
colour choices ive been asked to apply i personally wouldnt have choosen, like painting offices purple, nice.
i like the ones of this nature all clean magnolia and white. i find it just looks clean.
Other decorating includes paper and paint, this is one i did a while back

Exterior Rendering and Painting on a House Renovation

in the pictures here you can see the before and after rendering of a house, the brickwork
had been untidily done previously so the owner wanted a new finish to the property.
Once the Rendering had dried i got to the Exterior Painting and Decorating, not only with a clean paint
finish but a nice boarder as-well.

Once the fence had been put in we had finished.

Well a nice little job to start the week this week, a Kitchenette in a small lodge.
The kitchen was a flat pack one from a high street D.I.Y. place so the units had to be
assembled. Putting the units together was easier than location the water mains to turn
off the water, as the old kitchen hadn't had any service valves installed in the plumbing.
Eventually found it under the decking outside the property in a tube obscuring it from view, it
was well protected from the elements just protected from view also! nearly 3hrs wasted tho
because of it.
with all of the messing around i was behind and got on with the job but neglected to take
any pictures derrrr.
well until.....
As you can see half a dozen units is hardly a kitchen, however D.I.Y. flat pack always have their
little niggles and consume time.
A nice wine rack for an end panel, cept the wine rack isn't a whole unit, it has no legs of its own
neither is it full depth. So using the plinth as a foot and fixing under the worktop was the order of the
day, but i never had anything to fill the void....
Anyway, enough of the gawping and back to work.
The tiles that had been chosen were 4" and a beige, mage, tan, cream type stone effect with
a chipped style edge to them.
Spot the good colour description there.
The following piece doesn't help much either
The light wasn't the best by the time i was finished.
Now the cunning among you will notice the void space is nicely hidden by a shiny new cooker
so the usefulness of the wine rack becomes apparent, it for red.
With the corner unit i used a piece of white conti that had lived in the previous fittings and was spared the tip
as a little recycling helps, also the flat pack kitchen wasn't equipped for such things.
Neither was it marked for placing a 300mm door on an 800mm unit or units with markings to fit a
draw pack and in instructions told to measure "128.5mm" .5mm what a joke. Flat Pack don't ya love em lol.
All in all and to be fair, a light use kitchen in a holiday let its ideal for its purpose.
